So I just completed my Text animation project for Temple University! I am pretty excited. To complete it, I had to use After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. It is good to be back in the game. I have never really done anything with text or typography before so it was new and fresh to me. As I started putting the M4 together I realized that I really enjoy typography and am going to pursue it a bit more. I am happy with the way the AK and the M4 turned out, however I wish I would have had the hindsight before to make them in vector illustrator rather then Photoshop. It was okay, I made the real ones freaking huge like 1500x800 or something so it worked out. I also am really impressed how the towers came out. Originally I was going to do them in 3D just out of the text, but I messed up and dragged all but two point and it made the G look like the building. I then took this idea and applied it in illustrator. I for a second time and very proud of what I have created and hope you enjoy it as well!
